Witch Cults and Child Ballads (Penny Royal Extended 1.4)

Hey Lodge Members!

This is our fourth installment of extended audio from Season One of Penny Royal, and features associate producer Darian West and para-political researcher Steven Snider each discussing witch cults and witchcraft on the Penny Royal, as well as the possible origin of modern Wicca via the Child Ballads (and Aleister Crowley). Most people don’t realize that modern Wicca was re-invented just east of Somerset in Whitesburg, KY in 1971 – I certainly didn’t know any of this until we began our investigation. Though not included in this extended audio, I also have recordings of Dan Dutton singing some of the Child Ballads, which we’ll be including in a future post.
